1.Bedding and Linens: Provide comfortable mattresses, pillows, sheets, blankets, and towels and washcloths for each teen in the group home.
2.Furniture: Furnish common areas and bedrooms with essential furniture such as beds, dressers, desks, chairs, and couches. Create a welcoming and functional space for the teens to relax, study, and socialize.
3.Kitchen Supplies: Stock the kitchen with cookware, utensils, plates, glasses, and basic appliances, and groceries to facilitate meal preparation and foster a sense of independence.
4.Personal Care Items: Supply toiletries, including soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, and feminine hygiene products. Encourage personal hygiene habits and provide the necessary items for their well-being.
5. Clothing and Shoes: Collect a variety of clothing and shoes in different sizes to accommodate the diverse needs of the teens. This includes basic essentials like underwear, socks, and seasonal clothing.
6. Educational Materials: Offer a range of educational resources such as books, textbooks, computers, and art supplies. These materials can support their academic pursuits and creative expression.
7. Recreational Items: Provide recreational items like board games, sports equipment, musical instruments, and art supplies to encourage leisure activities and foster a sense of community.
8. Technology: Ensure access to computers, internet connectivity, and software for educational and recreational purposes. This can assist with schoolwork, research, and skill development.
